York Fitness Active 110 Cross Trainer : Better than I hoped for

Delivered quick and no problem at all.

Exactly what it said in the advert. Very pleased with this product.

Arrived safely in good condition all as described. Took ages to assemble but the instructions were clear. Heavy needs help assembling and moving. Here are the specifications for the York Fitness Active 110 Cross Trainer:

I’m not great at diy but there was nothing hard about putting it together other than the foot plates were a bit fiddly. Even if i move i won’t have to remove these but put them on the cantilevers first, it won’t affect anything and it’ll be a lot easier then trying to screw underneath the foot plates. I don’t usually write reviews but this is a great product, not that heavy but really sturdy and very quiet; i expected clunking from reviews of other products.

Keep in mind this is not thousands of pounds like the gym ones easy to put together & lots of functions to focus your training – well made but much better on solid ground rather than carpet.

  1. Once you have put together wd40 all the joints. After every 5th go make sure you re-tighten the bolts. That will make most of the negative reviews you have read, not happen. Metal will sqeak, unless you do the above.

    It’s a good machine for the price. It’s a good machine for the price, perfect size for home use, however after a few hours of use the bolts do come loose so you i changed them and also the front bar at the base will come loose again i changed the bolts and put some thin matting in between the metal this stopped the squeaking. After changing a few bolts it is still working great after around 60/70 hours.

    Easy to assemble, works a treat. After a little use it pays to retighten the fittings again as they work loose. Especially the plastic footplates, they could be improved on as when they work loose they become noisy.

      1. Good basic value for money machine. Does what it says on the tin. . Only comment is that you need to make sure you have a hard floor to put it on. Mine is on carpet with a mat over it and it feels a little unstable on full workout speed.

    Works well but can’t get screen to work. Relatively easy to set up but takes a while and need two person set up. Can’t figure out how to get the screen settings to work but item works fine. Resistance settings are good.
