Pure Fitness & Sports PureFitness & Sports R800 Unisex Adult Magnetic Rowing Machine – / : Easy to assemble

The delivery and service was excellent. We set it up in the garage and that is where it stays. It is too heavy and too long to use it in the house. It can be used with various settings so a competent user ( unlike myself ) would be able to use it with a good energetic workout without a problem. I find it is becoming addictive to use and enjoy the workout. Put the ipod on and row away.

Bought it from description on website. Delivered extremely quickly – 2 days, i think. Quite heavy for one person to lift. Delivery driver carried it from van to front door – about 50 feet – looked worn out. My husband (aged 72)carried it into garage and put it together very quickly and easily. As it is quite substantial in size, it looks as though it would cater for most people, but you would need a fair amount of space to use it – not suitable for the living room, because of its length and weight. Although it is foldable, i believe a metal pin needs to be removed, so we have left it out in the garage for him to use – it was my birthday present to him, and he uses it several times a day for short periods.

This rowing machine provides a good workout. I am quite fit and strong (ex rugby player) but i exercise on a setting two lower than the highest so there is room to make my workouts more difficult. My wife exercises two levels below that. I need to point out: the display is advertised as having a range of features which sounds good. It is difficult to use because the information jumps around and appears and disappears. For example: the info i am most interested in is time and distance (i. How i am doing against my target) but this information is only occasionally displayed so i have to spend most of my time looking at info i’m not interested in wondering how i am doing. Reviews from purchasers :

  • Heavy Duty Rower
  • Easy to assemble

Easy to assemble, works fine as a training machine giving you a tough workout. However, the display and computer is pretty atrocious and the only reliable number on there is the stroke counter and times with distance and pulse simply not accurate. Beep every stroke is annoying. Great for a workout, not for serious rowing training.
