Red bonnet off, 5 pin circuit plug, plugged in it’s alive. Rectified the fault, it turns out i will not require any further help in this matter. I undid the bonnet of the motor housing and in the motor housing i discovered a connection was not connected. I connected the 5pin circuit connector to the circuit board and the treadmill came to life.
This treadmill is great for me (i’m 5’2′) its max speed is 8kph which i thought would be a little fast (having never run on a treadmill before) my husband on the other hand (at 6’2′) can only walk on it, it is quite narrow so you have to get used to that, but for the price (i paid £130) it is great ?.
Motorised folding treadmill. Got it all set up (despite some really vague ‘instructions’), the switch lit up, but nothing on the screen. Finally got it working after reading another comment. Unfortunately had to remove the cover that says warranty is voided if removed, in order to connect a wire that wasn’t connected inside, in order to get it working. Glad i don’t have to send it back, but disappointed that the only way to get it to work is to void the warranty. Looks nice enough and doesn’t take up too much space (especially when folded). Quite narrow, but i will happily get used to that if it takes up less of the room. Easy to fold as long as you work out where/how to attach the last part which is not mentioned in any of the assembly instructions. Here are the specifications for the Olympic 2000 Olympic Motorized Folding Treadmill:
- 9.9 Km/h Top Speed, Belt Size: 1000 x 325 MM
- On-board Digital Computer Monitor with the following functions: Speed, Distance, Time & Calories
- Emergency Stop System
- 3 Pre-set Fitness Programs to suit various workout needs
- 2 Transportation wheels for ease of portability, Can Fold Away Easily
Compact when folded and easy to store and to use. Well, after a few hiccups, transit damage etc. All of which fit4home dealt with very promptly, i finally had a working product. It does what it says, its quite quiet, compact when folded and easy to store and to use. Our previous treadmill was more sophisticated but larger and heavier. Whilst the max belt speed is only 6 kph, this is great for us oldies and even our thirteen year old collie love to walk along on it at a steady 3-4 kph, she will push us off to get on herselfneat product.
Super treadmill for a good price. Purchased as a christmas present for our fitness mad 15 year old. Assembly was painless, it folds away for storage and with the use of the locking nut can be put up and down quiet simply. Treadmill itself works as per description and has so far been used by my 15yr old twins, 17 yr son and ‘slightly’ older husband. Most weight on it so far is 12 stone and this didn’t affect performance.
Reviews from purchasers :
- Great value treadmill
- Hi I cannot seem to get the small system working
- Does what it says
This treadmill is just great, it’s not too fast to start with and. I have a disability and needed someway of exercising at my own pace to help me to keep fit. This treadmill is just great, it’s not too fast to start with and you can build up the speed gradually which is brilliant for me. It is not too big either so doesn’t get in the way and relatively quiet as well. It is not too high either, i have used some treadmills that are so high off the ground i couldn’t get on them easily. My husband found it very easy to assemble and the safety key is a fabulous idea and a must in case you happen to fall off of overdo things and feel funny. This treadmill is very sturdy and looks great too. I will never be able to run on it so i can’t comment on that but it goes up to 8kil a hour so that seems a good pace to me. The price is excellent for the quality of the product. I would highly recommend if you want to keep fit but don’t fancy the gym.
Small but very nice treadmill for the money. Nice little treadmill but the emphasis has to be on little. Luckily i only bought it for my small jack russell dog so it’s actually ideal for me and i am very pleased with it. My only dislike is the very loud beeping noise when you switch it on and 4 beeps when you start it moving plus a piercing beep every time you change speed or stop. These beeps are stressing the dog and irritating me too. I wish there was a way to deactivate the sound. Other than that i think it’s a nice treadmill and at a real bargain price. Would recommend it to petite person (or owners of small dogs).
