Took a little bit of creating but it. Took a little bit of building but it is really sturdy and silent. Was not too amazed that the delivery gentleman refused to deliver it into the residence while (health and fitness and safety, evidently). So this new bike had a lot to live to up and it definitely doesn’t disappoint. Assembly took a few hours but then we’re not great diy people, it’s well worth the effort. This bike is extremely sturdy and delivers a really hard workout. We would definitely recommend this.

All parts fitted together easily and were securely packed so nothing was damaged. All materials used are first class and should stand the test of time. Communication from jtx was timely and courteous. Using the bike is easy and the display screen is clear. The ‘feel’ of the bike is excellent and the pedaling motion is smooth and realistic. The overall look and finish of the bike is great. Although its a chunk of money to buy i have no reservations in recommending the cyclo 5 upright to anyone, whether you are a regular gym goer or of a certain age and weight like me.

The electronic program range is very good and all the information the screen gives (time, speed, distance, calories burned, target heart rate and actual heart rate etc) keep you interested and focused on your exercise goals. I have no reason to doubt the accuracy of the info given on screen either (i. Calories and heart rate, with the latter measured by the free chest belt) as they seem about right to me for the effort put in. In terms of building the bike, allow yourself about an hour and a half to unpack, check everything, build the bike and tidy up afterwards; the only problem i had was the the holes for one of the elbow pads on the handlebar did not quite line up, but a couple of minutes with a battery drill sorted it.
