Body Sculpture BS1320 Twist Stepper : I wish they would waterproof them as they don’t like honest sweat and sadly are fixed at the point

Good buy great bit of equipment, is a little noisy and is heavy but it does what its supposed to do so i’m happy.

Sturdy and compact, worth the money.

Decent, but could be better. Not a bad product for the price, however changing the settings doesn’t actually change the resistance that much, it just happens to mean you’re stepping higher. Also make sure that the machine is always on a protective sheet of some sort, a lot of grease comes off it. Very easy to put together, and the resistance cords are a decent length and seem to be fair secure once fastened. I’m 5’7 and the cords are a good size, but they may be slightly long for someone shorter. The computer measures steps accurately, when it works, along with steps a minute and the amount of time spent on the machine. The calorie counter is completely wrong however, and tried to tell me i had burned 2000 calories in 20 minutes yesterday, that said, computers on work out equipment is hardly ever reliable and i wouldn’t particularly hold it against the manufacturers. Here are the specifications for the Body Sculpture BS1320 Twist Stepper:

  • Built to Last. – Lightweight, sturdy steel construction.
  • Easy Storage. – Easy to store and use. Highly portable.
  • Get Toned. – The vertical and lateral stepping motion action helps to tone the waist, legs, thigh and buttocks.
  • The resistance bungee cords help to tone the upper body muscles.
  • Made For You. – Anti-slip footplates and twin hydraulic cylinders.
  • Tracking. – Built in computer that monitors and displays; (theoretical) calories used, scan, strides per min and time.

Brilliant but a bit skeptical on the calories so calculate them yourself.

I wish they would waterproof them as they don’t like honest sweat and sadly are fixed at the point. I purchased this to replace a 6 year old body sculpture steeper that had eventually had litterally worn out. Sadly this is a lot lighter construction so i don’t think it will have the duribility and also doesn’t have the stability of our old one. The counter has already more or less died, i wish they would waterproof them as they don’t like honest sweat and sadly are fixed at the point you tend to drip (sorry create the image but it is for exercise) but it is hardly a requirement as i can count and i wear a watch.

Everything’s okey, thank you for transactions.

Sturdy and compact, worth the money.

These are robust , so quite heavy. That said, they seem efficient, although the counter seems a little hit and miss. My main criticism is the “clonk” as the pedals hit the bottom bar – they could do with a soft rubber pad to lessen the noise.

    1. This is handy if like me you have problems with your knees. This makes you stand up properly and so helps improve your posture. I find if i slouch or lean forward slightly i end up putting pressure on my knees and get pains. With this though as long as i stand up straight i’m good. The only one complaint is that after 3 sessions i started hearing a horrible noise, a bit like a creaking door who’s hinges need oiling. So i guess i need to grease the hydraulic mechanism. Using the bands at the same time as your stepping really does enhance the workout and you feel like you have been jogging after a while. For the price it was pretty good value as argos were selling exactly the same item for at least £20 more. Overall, i’d say it is worth buying.
